There have been a lot of rumors flying about who is going to replace Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez now that they have officially announced they are leaving American Idol. Nick Carter says they can’t afford Mariah Carey (and he’s probably right), Nicki Minaj, Adam Lambert and even Aretha Franklin (though she seems to be begging to be on the show- I think to be relevant to pop culture again). HOWEVER….
Jon Bon Jovi, whose name was dropped by Jo Lo herself as a possible replacement, appears to be completely out of the picture. TMZ is reporting that a source “extremely” close to Jon said "Jon wouldn't commit to anything unless he can give 100%. With planning for the next album already underway, he's focused on the band."
