So my daugher announced the other day that she wanted to go pick out her Halloween costume. My first issue is that I am NOT handy in any way when it comes to manufacturing Halloween costumes. I can't sew, can't measure and can't be trusted with either scissors or glue. However I thought "No biggie- the Halloween stores are open and everyone has costumes out right now."
My second issue is that my 11 year old daughter is 5'3" and doesn't want to wear little kid stuff anymore. However I thought...again... "No problem- she can wear adult size costumes"
R-i-g-h-t!!!! Apparently when the manufacturers got around to making the women's costumes (after making all the men's costumes first) there was a significant shortage of material. Either that or only porn stars are expected to go to Halloween parties this year.
